" Safeguarding Respiratory Health, Families Walking the Journey Together"
Enrolment for the 7th Family Health Ambassador Training Programme 2027 is now open.
The theme of the Programme is "Safeguarding Respiratory Health, Walking Together as a Family" (「守護呼吸健康・家人攜手同行」). It is designed mainly for caregivers of people with asthma, long COVID or other chest and respiratory conditions. People living with these conditions and anyone interested in respiratory health are also welcome to join.
Running from January to March 2027, the Programme offers a series of health talks, practical workshops and health promotion activities. These cover disease knowledge, nutritional care, symptom monitoring, respiratory rehabilitation, Chinese medicine care and night-time care.
The Programme aims to help people with these conditions manage their own health, build caregivers' skills and confidence, ease the stress of caring, and strengthen family support and community connections.
