Proposed research projects will focus on heavy health-burden diseases. The design will follow the requirement of International Conference on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceutical for Human Use (ICH), Good Clinical Practice (GCP). The following research topics are under consideration:     - the efficacy of Chinese medicine in the treatment of diabetes;     - the efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of migraine;
